Slept in this morning, untill my buddy Mark called and said lets go catch some Spanish.
Good enough for me. Left CB inlet around noon. Went south past KB Pier.
Busting the surface, and got them casting on Gotcha Plugs.
After a while, they went down, and we went to trolling. # 1, and 2 planners with gold and silver clarkspoons. A little offshore they were all over both gold and silver/flash spoons.

Had a blast, and no bluefish!!!!

For Spanish, stick with the old tried and true. KISS

Good Luck,
Midnight

Way to go fellows! I might give that a try this week up this way. Heard there was a huge school of them near masons.

It depends on what you're fishing for. The spanish seem to be more tolerant of the warm water. They save many a charter because when all else fails the captains go for the spanish. The kingfishing is slower than slow Crying or Very sad
