bottom fishing out of nri

we broke the inlet at about six o'clock made our way t e bouy to catch bait. caught all the cigars you could want move off the bouy about 2 miles to try for some gags. nothin but about 4 legal sea bass and a bucnh of small ones. old my buddy we better move off now if we want catch anything. pointed the hydra sport off shore and did 25 knots in some bumpy stuff. i saw a 2x6 about 24 miles out i knew there had to be some dolphin around it. pull up threw out some squid nothin next out live cigar minnow bam fish on. litte bailer for the next 30 mins we caught 12 bailer they relly didn't want to eat we had to work for them. pulled up one last time my buddy spinning rod starts screaming and i see a 20 lb mahi going crazy behind the boatfive minutes later i put the still in him. now the pressure is off. so off we go futher. finally hit the spot about and hour later. i had a guy who had never fished with me before i told him i pulled some red grouper off of here last time i was here. first drop bam his electric reel is moan i tell get him a feww minutes later big red in th boat. we drifted the spot about 15 more times end up with 3 reds 15bliners 11 silver snappers 20 geunts 1 trigger and another mahi on the lite line pull the plug about 2 had a long ride back in sloppy sea. now i'm glad i made it out saturday. pics to comecatch'em up
