I'm reading this as saying you're fish would've taken 1st place any other time. How often is a 56lb'r caught for a win?

Gery - In this particular tournament, it would be "iffy" with a 40# . Actually there have been several years that a 50+ won it. I think what JuneBug was saying is that more often than not, a 40# probably would win.

That's what I was reading, that in most situations your fish would be a winner. I just wasn't sure what you meant by saying you were called out. Didn't know if there was something behind the scenes that was fixin to come out here. Just trying to keep it clean and fun! Thanks,

Great!!!!!!!! Now back to the fish, I've never caught one that big yet. Still lookin for him. I hope we get a break in the weather this week. Crankin the boat up in the yard is getting old fast! We'll post up a new report very soon I hope.

I hear ya. I keep mine in the water so it does get used more than it would if I trailered. I have a king mount that I may get ya to see if ya can freshen it up a bit.
