Slid off the beach after lunch , we got into the Slinger Dolphin & Kingfish
All fish we caught were on Live Cigar Minnows and 0 on Pogies !!!!!!!

very nice Eris Kind of odd that they wouldnt eat the pogies.

Ryan I have caught very few fish this off of pogies ,,,,,,,,, I dont believe I have ever seen as much stacked up bait as I have this year . Most of the fish I have caught have been off of live cigar minnows .

Thanks for the first picture Eris. Now at least I have one of your numbers. I'll return your king bag in the next couple of days. I sure haven't used it. I went out of Bogue Tuesday and we had 5 Cobia's on and all of them broke off, yesterday out of NRI and lost one cobia. It was tough on a little boat out there yesterday. I got my Sport Craft back today.

thanks for the report. Kind of strange that they aren't biting on the pogies. What size pogies are you finding down there.? Around here they are still on the small size and not many of them in any school.

Those numbers want do you much good Harley, Last weekend we ran sort of south of NRI and hit baitballs like that all over the place about 10 miles out. Wish we could have put a couple of thousand in the freezer.

Vic, Poggies have been running 8 - 10 inches.

Harley you should not be breaking that many fish off ........ we need to talk and maybe I can help you out some .

Vic depending on where the pogies come from I have had the biggest pogies all year that I have ever had thid early 8-9 inch or so also some in the 6 inch size ..... these bait balls are so thick and they are loaded with sardines i think that is why they are eating them better than the pogies but then again who knows

Also harley just cause I showed you the pic of the color scope with numbers it does not mean I caught fish there just that there was bait there

Fish will bite "Milky Ways" on the Backlash.....

Hey Eris, I was just picking at you a little about the numbers. I do need some help with my rigs. I've broken solid wire (with no kinks) and had seven strand come untied. I've been using my king rigs for Cobia but several people have suggested 50 lb florocarbon. I'll try to get down there soon to see you.
