shark bite

A buddy of mine just called me from Sunset Beach. He was leaving the hospital in the area. Him and his little girl were playing in about 2 feet of water when she yelled out that something bumped into her. My buddy swiped his hand down in the water and pulled up three bloody fingers. The doctor said he probably swiped his fingers across the bottom jaw of a shark. Now that is a fish report for you. Everyone is okay and he is drinking a cold one right about now.

1 in wrightsville beach and another 1 near myrtle beach

Yea I saw on the news about the little girl in Wrightsville Beach. They are saying a sand tiger was the culprit on that one. I think the news said something about she received thirty stiches in her forearm and hand. She was very lucky!!!!!!!!!!! The water is warm and they are moving in closer for some reason it seems.

My husband took care of the girl that got bit at WB this weekend. She got 40 stitches. Him and the Doc estimated a 4-5' shark judging by the bite on her arm. She said she felt something hit her, but the shark went on down the beach.
