RFA brings Suit over Black Seabass Closure
The RFA will be amending their 17B lawsuit to include the Black Sea Bass closure.
The Judge has already ruled that under the Magnusson Stevens Act they are not entitled to an injunction on any issue regarding the regulations.
Therefore, stopping the closure this year will not be possible due to the relatively short term (in legal time frame versus the length of the closure) and the closure will run its course. They will be attacking the closure process for Black sea Bass and the results will be preventing closures in future years.
