I am new to Salt Water fishing... I have been chasing the green (largemouth) fish for years and have won or placed in a lot of bass fishing tournaments but I am now into the big water fishing......We bought a second home on Oak Island last summber and have been "Whacking" the Spanish this summer and I am ready to move out for the kings, mahi, etc.....

I am finding that the salt water fishing guys on these sites are a lot more open with intel than the inland guys...

Welcome to the site ,,,, Oak Island is an awesome place , infact you are close to 1 of the past national champions & SKA Hall of Famer Jerry Dilsaver , I would take the time to look him up and pick his brain for a few minutes . He can teach you more in a few minutes than most people can learn on thier own in 10 years

Hey Whack Em,
Welcome to the family. We're glad to have you join us. Nothing wrong with having the best of both worlds , fresh and salt. Looking forward to reading your posts.

you have to go to a photo service like photobucket.com and resize to something like 800x600 then copy image link and then paste that link in your message on your post.

Whack em I too am a convert from bass to chasing the kings. Yes the salt guys seem to share info more freely. So don't be afraid to ask questions.
