7-1-2011 trip on the Amanda Gail

David, Walter (David's neighbor) and myself left out of Atlantic NC around 6 am to do so king/dolphin/etc. fishing. Tried a couple of spots with only one 20+ lb. African Pompano. So we started to look for weed lines and found a partial line and put the baits in the water. Bingo !! The dolphin started they were schooling up all around the boat so we were dropping baits back to them and watching them take it. we managed to boat five nice dolphins while breaking off and/or pullling the hooks on some three fish. Yes even Mr. Lucas missed one.
Had a great day on the water with a good friend, caught some fish, enjoyed meeting and making a new friend. it don't get no better than that.

Vic, Walter and I took his Daughter that used to fish the KMT's with him before she gat married, and his Granddaughter Sat and caught some nice Grouper, Blackbass, and Triggerfish. I hadn't seen his Daughter since 2007 when Walter won the ABKMT for the second time. She came to the awards that year to see her DAD get the award. He is the only man to ever win the ABKMT twice. We had a good time also.

yep after spending the day on the boat with Walter I now know who taught you. haha, lol
